1968 Chevrolet Bel Air with a 307 V8 engine with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. This car is currently our daily driver and have driven it on highways, interstates, and country road and it does well at all speeds. The car is inspected. The car was repainted within the last few years. The engine is original the camshaft replaced with a hot-rod camshaft, the carburetor was switched from a two barrel to a four barrel Holley Carb. Recently replaced the following: points, condenser, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, coil, air filter, fuel filter, battery cables, passenger-side front wheel bearings, belts. Do have a new starter for the car which would be included with it. The interior is in good condition. The dash pad was dyed by a previous owner to a black, but could be dyed back to original color. Has a brand new spare tire. Original bumper jack is included. This car could easily be turned into a rat rod or could be turned into a beautiful full restoration. The exterior is an absolutely beautiful baby blue color. Interior is a nice darker shade of blue. Heater works. Does not have A/C. Previous owner disconnected radio but installed a CD player. Has front and rear defrost. Gets pretty good gas mileage 17.5 mpg. The previous owner replaced the gas tank. Car's odometer shows approx 73,000 miles. Little bit of rust on the car is on a second layer of metal behind the outer quarter panel in the rear on one side but is such a small amount as to be negligible. Has power steering - which works very well. Previous owner also replaced the radiator. When purchased from previous owner, the emergency brake was not working.
