Condition: Everything on/in the car is in working order (headlights, turn signals, high beams, tail lights, license plate light, reverse lights, glove box light, lighter, wipers, courtesy map light, dome light, hideaway doors, horn, ORIGINAL AM/FM Radio, and all gauges).
Condition (cont.): All glass is in good shape, windows operate with no trouble, does not leak or burn oil, does not smoke, the Endura front bumper does show some signs of aging/small cracks, NO rust, body is extremely straight, and the dash is in perfect condition with NO cracks
Additionally included: Receipts dating back to the '70s from the cars original owner, and the Original jack. Original OEM Interior Kit (Includes: Door panels, Seat covers, Carpet, and etc.). Original Keys and Documents dating back to the mid-70s.
What has been replaced over the years: Front suspension was rebuilt to stock form, original carburetor was rebuilt, has a new 2 1/2 exhaust exiting in stock location, spin tech mufflers (can be easily replaced to stock if desired). PMD center caps and correct lugs, starter, belts, water pump, heater core, sending unite, rear coil springs, tires, master cylinder, and brakes system have all been gone through. Motor oil, transmission oil, (added shift kit) rear end fluids have recently been changed.
History of the Car: The car was originally built in Fremont, CA, and was then sold to James Adam Pontiac in Oakland, CA in 1968. Has been in the Bay Area its entire life. PHS documented. Original Protect-O-plate.
Facts and Awards: PHS Documented, Good Guys award winner for "50 Years of GTO". Additionally, it will be featured in an upcoming Ron Kimball's car calendar (photos can be found on Ron Kimball's website and were taken in Dec. 2014). The car has made frequent trips to Hot August Nights in Reno, in the last three years, without a single problem. This car is an amazing piece of history and has been treasured and preserved to be as much to original as possible and only replacing what needed to be replaced to ensure that the car is operational.
