OK collectors, this car is the real deal. It is an original Z28 that has been certified by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance Inc, the foremost appraiser and authentication expert in the classic Camaro arena. The engine, transmission, and rear end are verified all numbers matching (with numbers and date codes available). The interior is original, and in excellent shape. According to the data on the factory broadcast sheet, this is an original Z28 with a 302-290 horsepower V-8 engine, an M-21 4 speed transmission, and factory 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears and posi- traction. According to MacNeish, this Z-28 Camaro, trim tag and drive train have been certified as real and authentic, and is classified as a survivor car because of its original low mileage 29,169 and its unmolested condition. The only change from original that we know of if the cowl hood that was added by the second owner. MacNeish concluded his summary of this car by saying this Camaro is a "very nice survivor. One of the nicest original 1969 Z28s we have seen in many years".
