1969 Oldsmobile 442 Hurst For Sale FULLY & METICULOUSLY RESTORED using ALL ORIGINAL MAJOR ENGINE COMPONENTS FMC is proud to offer this very special classic. This '69 Hurst Olds is 1 of only 914 made. Only 1/3 of the 914 had air conditioning as this one does. The Hurst Olds came with the 455ci H.O. (high output) engine pushing 380hp. The engine had W-30 heads, cam, distributor and Forced-Air induction. This engine was called the W-46. A performance-modified Turbo HydraMatic transmission with a console-shifted Hurst Dual-Gate shifter was included as standard equipment. This provided this machine with a 0-60 time of just 5.9 seconds. A very respectable time for '69 and an even run with the 427 Corvette of the same year. The dual hood scoops are fully functional as is the rear tail as noted by Hurst. Heavy-duty suspension, power front disc brakes, and Goodyear Polyglas F60xl5s on special seven inch wheels were standard equipment. This car has it all. All 914 Hurst Olds in 1969 came in Cameo White (GM color code 50) with Fire- Frost Gold trim & striping. Hurst badging and imported English racing mirror and blackout front grill, finish up the exterior. The interior seating came with custom gold headrests. Air conditioning was optional which this car has as noted previously. The interior is impeccable from top to bottom and every feature and option work properly including the rare optional tachometer/clock combo. This particular 442 Hurst Olds may be one of the most original in existence. After a complete frame-off restoration 10 years ago, all major engine components were kept and rebuilt, not replaced. The engine block, heads, water pump, intake manifold, alternator, starter and carburetor topped by its air cleaner assembly are all 100% original to this car. The complete engine transmission and drive train are all matching. "Numbers Matching" is an understatement! The mileage is actual at just 60,672. This Texas rust free car retains all of its original body panels. The gaps, body panels and body alignment are perfect.Documentation is impressive. Two Protecto-Plate warranty cards are still with this car. The second was issued because the car was sold by the first owner to the second owner while still under warranty. The original shipping data sheet, dealership information, original books and brochure are included. Details about this car were given just a few months ago by Mr Art Daniel, the son of the original owner, Mrs Lucille Spencer Daniel.
