1970 AMC AMX SHOWROOM QUALITY, Go Pack 390 Ram Air 4-speed. 72,000 miles roughly. Engine was built by Mike Kennedy at Race Engines Development in Archdale, NC who is a winning engine builder in NASCAR, NHRA, and IHRA. Heads are pocket ported. CP Pistons 10.25-1. Roller Crane Cam. Competition valve springs. 3/8 Push Rods. Roller tips rockers. Distributor shaft is modified where it meets the oil pump. Engine has been dyno at 470 HP on pump gas. MSD distributer and box. 9' Ford rear end with Detroit locker, 4:30. NASCAR 3rd member and drive shaft. Cal-tech rear brakes. Griffin Radiator. Center Force clutch assembly. 750 Holley double pump Torker intake. Space saver spare tire with canister and jack. Rimblow steering wheel, with tilt. Leather interior. Dark blue exterior paint with silver shadow mask. owned the car for 18 years (3rd owner) and bought it with 23,000 miles. This vehicle has only been rained on probably 3 or 4 times since 1971. This car has won over 100 trophies/awards in show. This car has been completely stripped down to bare metal, and has absolutely NO RUST. I have pictures of all major repairs and modifications.
