We have just added a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 to our inventory that is probably one of the nicest Chevelles we have ever had. This is a true SS...we have the build sheet to prove it (in fact we have 2 build sheets). Not only do we have 2 build sheets but this car has its original engine transmission and rear end. It is powered by its original numbers matching 396 cubic inch 375 horse power engine and the original numbers matching M40 3 speed automatic transmission. Transferring that power to the rear wheels is the numbers matching posi-traction rear end with 3.31 gears. The car came equipped with power steering power brakes (disc in front with rear drum) bucket seats with console and floor shift tinted glass The car features the original AM radio with 8 track tape player (which still works) and a Kenny Rogers tape that goes with the car. Interior is like new except for one small tear on the driver's seat...see picture. This car runs and drives without issue. It is a blast to drive and ready for someone new to enjoy it. At the time of the photographs all our racks were full so we weren't able to get underneath pictures...there are no rust issues...in fact the car is still wearing its original sheet metal as evidenced by the stamped numbers on the rear fenders.
