This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is a solid running and driving classic that presents well but is not a show car. It is what many would consider a 10-footer it looks good from a distance, photographs well, and has strong curb appeal, but up close you will find imperfections in the paint and body. The car is factory code 28 Fathom Blue, a very desirable color for 1970, and it is finished in Fathom Blue today. It also features white racing stripes that give it a strong muscle car look. The car sits on SS 14-inch wheels wrapped in white-letter radial tires, completing the classic stance. Inside, the car is equipped with a very desirable white/ivory interior featuring bucket seats and a center console. It also has a factory-style tachometer and a tilt steering column nice option that add to the driving experience and overall appeal. Mechanically, the car runs and drives great. It starts, idles, and goes down the road nice and straight. The floors and trunk are solid, which is always important on a car of this vintage. That said, in the interest of full transparency, the paint and body do show defects and imperfections. Additionally, while the car runs and drives well, on occasion the shift handle has gotten stuck in gear. It can be freed while driving, but it is something the next owner may want to address. Because of the cosmetic condition and the minor mechanical quirk noted above, this car is being sold as-is and priced to sell quickly. It is a great candidate for someone who wants an affordable, good-driving 1970 Chevelle Malibu to enjoy as-is, improve over time, or take to the next level with paint and body work. If you are looking for a perfect show car, this is not it.
