1970 IH 1200D 4x4 Travelall. This 3/4 ton 4x4 Travelall still has the original 345, but has been rebuilt with .030' over pistons, a slightly modified Isky cam and an Edelbrock carburetor. Other than that, it is stock. The radiator has been rebuilt with a new core, but the A/C is disabled. Transmission is a cast iron, Borg Warner 3-speed automatic which works well. The driveline is good including the 4-wheel drive. Brakes are decent and the truck is roadworthy to drive. I've taken it on many road trips it has never left me stranded.There is a 6000# Warn winch on the front which works well, and in the back is the preferred 'barn door' set up. This is not a 'rust free truck'. It needs some body work on the front floors where the cab mounts are located. The rest of the floors are solid and the frame has no issues. The rear quarters need some attention and it is kind of crusty around the edges in back. Front inner fenders are nice including the areas where the hood hinges mount. Do the body work, some fresh paint, re-seal some leaks, and this truck will be a really nice, unique sought after Travelall.
