1970 International Travelette The truck has been coming along, further and further as time goes. If nobody buys the truck on this round of sale ads, it will be laying frame on air suspension by the end of summer and a 80mm turbo will be sticking out of the hood and the exhaust will be blowing flames...right now you can get this truck for a great price, but once the rest of it comes into play, it is going to be much more! For you that do not know what I am doing with this truck, let me give you the run down. This truck started it's life as a 1970 IH Travelette pickup that served for the U.S. Navy and was found by me, after it sat for many years after it's time served. I resurrected the pickup personally, with the help of a few friends along the way and a few employees as well. Now the truck looks like a 1970 rust bucket, but it's outfitted with all of the workings of a 2003 Silverado and the interior is from an SS. Engine is a 5.3 w/ built 6.0 heads in order to support our boost desires. We have rebuilt the transmission less than 150 miles ago with upgaded parts to hold a bit more power, but eventually that 4L60 will need to be bumped to a 85...in my opinion. It has new calipers and brakes on the rear and the frame has been notched back there to support or lowering needs...the rear axle has been moved back 4 inches from factory in order to fit correctly in the wheel wells. The truck bed has been completely re-designed on the framing portion of it so it can support weight and we installed some lumber for the bed floor itself. The interior is one of the coolest parts about this old truck!
