1970 Triumph TR6 Convertible For Sale An extremely nice driver, this car was purchased from its local owner and has spent its life in Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina. Professionally repainted roughly 10 years ago, the car benefits from a good history of service, maintenance and upgrades. Well documented, the car has had brake and clutch master cylinders, clutch slave cylinder, a new battery, heater control valve, rebuilt carburetors, a new fuel pump, lines and filters. New universal joints were installed as well as new tires, on refinished wheels, a new convertible top, Walnut dash facia, dashboard crash pads, dash knobs, a period correct radio and more. The car runs and drives extremely well with a strong clutch, no synchronizer issues, holds perfect temperature with good oil pressure and starts easily. The previous owner stated that the engine had been rebuilt 8 to 10 years ago, but I do not have the documentation for that repair. I believe this to be true by the way the car starts and runs with no valve noise, smoke or other issues. Recently new weatherstripping were added, a radiator fan shroud, new Trunk lining kit, new chrome wiper arms and blades, new sun visors, an oil service, the fuel tank was Removed and flushed and re-sealed the fuel sending unit, exhaust work, etc. All of the systems on the car are working properly and currently needs nothing to be enjoyed.
