1971 Chevrolet Malibu 350 Convertible. Numbers matching. Original Owner, 112K miles. One of just over 5000 made.This car is an absolutely beautiful example of a rather unique car. Of those convertibles made; less than 10% were produced in Placer Gold. The body is mint, having had a respray about 20 years ago. There is no rust on this car at all, having always been stored in a garage. The top is the second top, replaced about 10 years ago. It too is in beautiful shape, still tight, no tears or wear.The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, 245 HP, 2bbl carb. 350, with the TH350 3 spd auto tranny, new stainless dual exhaust, power top, all original Saddle Brown interior. It has been set up with a Clarion CD changer and speakers, however, the original radio comes with the car. Although it has aftermarket rims, the original hubcaps also come with the car, it even has the original spare tire.Recent work includes a timing chain, fuel pump, top end gaskets and tune up. The car starts on the first turn of the key and immediately rumbles to a smooth idle. Punch the throttle and the 350 sets you back into the seat with ease.Also included with the car is all the original paperwork, the saddle brown boot and the original protecto plate.
