Mercedes-Benz W111 280SE 3.5L . The history with this car is that the previous owner had the car professionally converted from a 2dr Coupe into a Cabriolet by a Mercedes Specialist in the Arizona area, where it has been for many years. The car has been in it's current form for over 20 years and inspected by many Mercedes Enthusiasts here in the Western US. The job was well done and complimented regularly. The current owner has owned that car for over 15 years. I have personally known of this car with this owner for nearly 6 years and it is always garaged and covered at his private home in Scottsdale, Arizona. According to the seller, the car retains the original 3.5L engine and automatic transmission. 58,000 original miles. No rust issues ever. Mechanically, the car is used as a nice weekend driver and is in top form with regular maintenance by a Mercedes Specialist - no issues or leaks. No electrical issues, everything works except for the horn (which is disconnected for unknown reasons) and the original radio also does not work, however a replacement is included with the car. The seller has asked that I bring him an appropriate offer. He understands that it is not an original convertible and has agreed to have some flexibility in his price.
