1971 TRIUMPH STAG ONLY 2,871 TRIUMPH STAGS IMPORTED TO THE US AND VERY FEW EXAMPLES LEFT WITH ORIGINAL DRIVETRAIN. Mechanical 1971 Triumph Stag. This car needs some cosmetic and engine work to be back to perfect again. Numbers matching drivetrain. This car runs and drives great but can’t stay on long because of head gasket is leaking but the engine is very healthy and was not driven in this condition. The transmission and the clutch are great. Last owner owned it for over 35 years. Exterior The paint is old but still very presentable and looks to be the original. Body has minor dings and some small dents as you can expect from a car this old. All the glass is good. This car comes with a bunch of paperwork and extra parts. The convertible top canvas needs replaced but the hard top is in great condition. Interior The interior is very original and pretty nice for its age. The dash is great with working gauges. The seats have no tears and overall very nice interior.
