1971 VOLVO P1800 COUPE. THIS CAR RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL B20E ENGINE. IT ALSO HAS ITS ORIGINAL 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH THE FACTORY LAYCOCK OVERDRIVE. THE ENGINE ALSO HAS BOSCH D-JETRONIC FUEL INJECTION. THE CAR STARTS RIGHT UP EVERYTIME AND RUNS DOWN THE ROAD WITH NO ISSUES. THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG AND THERE ARE NO OVERHEATING ISSUES. THE CLUTCH FEELS GOOD AND DOES NOT SLIP OR HAVE ANY FUNNY ISSUES. THE TRANS SHIFTS SMOOTH AND THERE ARE NO SINCRO NOISES. THE EXTERIOR IS IN GREAT CONDITION. ALL OF THE BODY PANELS LINE UP AS MANUFACTURED. THE CAR DOES NOT SHOW ANY SIGNS OF A PREVIOUS ACCIDENTS. THERE ARE NO WAVES AT ALL WHEN YOU LOOK DOWN THE BODY SIDES. THE CAR WAS REPAINTED TO A VERY HIGH QUALITY A FEW YEARS AGO. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF RUST AND DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY BODY FILLER. THERE IS NOT A DROP OF OVER SPRAY ON THE CAR WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THE ENTIRE CAR WAS DISMANTLED BEFORE IT WAS PAINTED.THERE APPEARS THAT A BATTERY DRIPPED SOME BATTERY ACID ON THE PASSENGER FENDER AS DISPLAYED IN THE PICTURES. IT ALSO APPEARS THAT ALL THE RUBBER WAS REPLACED AS ITS NEW. REPLACED MOST OF THE CHROME MOLDINGS EXCEPT BOTH DOORS AS THEY ARE ON BACK ORDER AND DO NEED TO BE REPLACED. THEY ARE $140 FOR BOTH. THE BUMPERS WHILE BEING STRAIGHT AND DO NOT HAVE ANY DENTS ARE IN FAIR CONDITION. THE INTERIOR IS ALSO IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL. THE SEATS DO NOT HAVE ANY RIPS OR TEARS IN THEM AND DO NOT SHOW ANY WEAR. THEY WERE PROBABLY RECOVERED AT SOME POINT BUT LOOK TO BE CORRECT. THE CARPET LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN REPLACED AT SOME TIME AND APPEARS TO BE PERIOD CORRECT. THE DASH HAS THE USUAL CRACKS THAT THESE MODELS GENERALLY HAVE.
