The Ignition System Is All MSD Which Includes The Pro Billet Distributor, Blaster Coil, 6AL Ignition Box And 8mm Spark Plug Wires. There Is Also A Powermaster 150 Amp Alternator. The Front Accessory Drive Pulleys Have Been Converted To Use 6 Rib Belts. Keeping The Engine Cool Is A 1000hp Rated Radiator System With Dual Electric Fans, This Is A Complete Kit From "Be Cool" And Works Perfectly. The Exhaust Consists Of Hooker Super Comp 1 3/4" Ceramic Coated Headers And Joins Up With AFull 2 1/2' Stainless Steel Exhaust With Magnaflow Turbo Style Mufflers. There Are Also Quick TimePerformance Exhaust Cutouts, These Are Controlled By A Wireless Keyfob. The Exhaust Was AlsoPut Together With V Bands Clamps So The Exhaust Pipes Can Be Removed And Reinstalled WithEase For Service Of The Transmission Or Clutch.The Transmission Is A Muncie M21Z That Has Been Beefed Up By D&L Transmission WhichInclude An Autogear Super Case And Billet Mid Plate. It Has A "Z" Gear Set Which Has A 2.97 FirstGear. The 2.97 Gear Along With The 3.23 Final Gear Gives The Car A Much More ResponsiveFeel In First Gear But Also Has A Great Cruise RPM As Well. At 65 Mph And The 28' Tall Tires The Engine Is At 2600 Rpm. The 10 Bolt Rear Has Been Beefed Up With A Eaton Posi Unit And 31 Spline Moser Axles. The Clutch Is A McLeod Sure Grip Rated At 550hp And Has A New Steel Flywheel. The Driveshaft Was Custom Made And Is 4" And Is Rated For 1000hp, The U Joints HaveAlso Been Upgraded To 1350 Size. The Transmission Was Also Installed With A New Hurst Competition Plus Shifter.The Suspension Is A Complete Kit From Hotchkis. They Call It "TVS" For Total Vehicle SuspensionAnd Includes 2" Drop Springs Up Front And 1.5" Drop Leafs In The Rear. Also Included Were All NewBushings And Front And Rear Sway Bars. On All Four Corners Are Hotchkis Shocks That Were Designed And Tuned To Work With Their "TVS" System. Subframe Connectors And Competition Engineering Traction Bars Have Been Installed.The Car Now Rides On American Racing Torque Thrust 17" Wheels Wrapped With Nitto 450 Series Tires. The Wheels Are 9" Wide In The Rear And 7" Wide Up Front. The Rear Tires Are 275/50/17 And The Fronts Are 235/60/17. Wilwood 4 Piston Front Calipers With Drill And Slotted Rotors. The Manual Master Cylinder Was Sized With The 1 1/8" Bore In Case Rear Disc Breaks Were Ever Added. There Is Also A Steel Front Spoiler Which Is Not Seen On Many Novas. The Front And Rear Seats Were Recently Treated To All New Foam Padding Along With Newer Seat Covers.Cars Drive's And Handle's Great And The Build Makes For An Excellent Performance Street Car. Door Handles And Locks, Trunk Lock And Ignition Are All New And Are Keyed With The Same Key For Simplicity.The Front And Rear Glass Was Removed And New Molding Clips Were Installed After The 45 YearOld Adhesive Was Scraped Off The Glass Was Reinstalled With Newer Modern Adhesive/Sealant. Every Piece Of Chrome Exterior Trim Has Been Replaced With Pieces From Auto Metal Direct.The Triangle Vent Windows Were Sent Out And Received New Rubber, Chrome Trim Along TheInterior Handles And Felts. The Door Felts Have Also Been Replaced. The Doors Have Been Treated With Sound Deadening While The Door Panels Were Removed For The Vent Glass And Door HandleReplacement. The Trunk Floor And Entire Interior Were Also Treated With A Sound Deadening Product Called Rattle Trap. Afterwards A New Carpet From ACC Was Installed. The Doors Shut With A Solid Thump Rather Than A Tinny Sound.Installed A Set Of Good Quality 6x9 Tri Axe Speakers And The Wires Have Been Run Up And AreWaiting For A New Head Unit Of The New Owners Choice. In Attempts To Clean Up The Engine Compartment The Battery Was Relocated To The Trunk. TheTwice Oversized Welding Cables Are Routed And Secured Top Notch With Rubber Grommets And Rubber Insulated Straps Were Used Throughout And Protected With A Circuit Breaker In The Trunk. All Steel, No Body Filler! The 150 One Wire Alternator Also Has A Twice Oversized Charging Wire.
