1972 Dodge Dart. This is the Custom model sedan, thus top of the line of the time. Clean title, and it has a 318 cubic inch V8, and I've used it mainly as a picture car for tv and film a bit, as it's been in a few tv shows, as well as a film. I've driven it less than 500 miles in the past year, only to the shop, to sets, and on Sunday drives to get it out on the freeway a bit, and around the roads. It currently has 151,775 miles on it, as originally it was owned by an older woman long ago. I have records dating back to 1994 that came with the car when I bought it, as it was originally purchased in Oakland, CA, spent some time in Fresno, and seems to have spent since around 2007 here in L.A., as I bought it from a hip-hop artist, who restored it to the white interior and did the paint job, which are holding well. A 50 year old car is never perfect, but it's quite nice. Based on receipts, it's only been driven around 1,500 miles since 2018. A lot of work has been done to it, as since I've had it, and the former owner had the transmission rebuilt, as shown in receipts. I've put the following into it. Belts, transmission filter and fluid service, with transmission fluid pan gasket. Fuel pump, fuel filter, and neutral safety switch. Inner and outer wheel bearing, and bearing seals. Front brake rotors, power steering pump rebuild. Rear main seal, valve cover gasket, spark plugs and wires, oil pan gasket, transmission line fitting. Strut rod bushings, tie rods and ball joints. Steering gear box. Alignment. Various vacuum hoses and carburetor rebuild. Oil and filter change, power brake booster check valve. A small chip in the front windshield was sealed, and it won't spread to a crack, as it's already been a year since it was done. Trunk weather stripping. This car has no leaks and rust is very minimal in areas that I can show you, which it's not spreading. Tires, as they're in excellent shape. Replaced door and trunk locks, as in photos, which are from the past, they don't show this, but it's one key for the ignition, and another key for the door locks and trunk. Also replaced those side lights, which in the photos show as missing on the drivers side front, and a broken one on the drivers side rear. All electrical works, as replaced some fuses as well, and some lightbulbs. High beam works as well. I didn't want to have the interior of the lights in the dashboard touched, as it can be fragile, but there needs to be a bulb replacement there as well. This car had a/c, but it's not hooked up. Vents do work, though. As a lot has been done to it, it runs quite well. An old car can have things happen to it whenever it wants to, but I've done so much, and I'm looking to move on from a Mopar and get something else, though, not interested in trades.
