1972 Oldsmobile 98 Hard top sports sedan. NO PILLAR! It has a 225 HP 455 big block V8 with 4 barrel carburetor, a TH400 automatic transmission and the rear drive axle is a GM 12 bolt(non locking). The car has 78,000 original miles on it. Runs and drives great. Transmission shifts very smooth. Engine has plenty of power. Even though this car was made before the mandatory shift to unleaded fuel, this car was prepared with the ability to run on leaded, low lead and no lead fuels. It has a single outlet exhaust with Glasspack. Sounds very nice. Huge trunk that is literally 6 feet wide inside. All glass is good. It does NOT have power windows or seats. The AC does NOT work, but that doesn't mean it can't be fixed. Tires are good. It has a new radiator and radiator hoses. New valve cover gaskets were recently installed and tune up. The car still needs some TLC to make it better. The interior has light stains, rips and foam exposure. There is rust behind the rear wheels on both sides quarter panels. The paint is coming off of the drivers door but no rust. Chrome is good. The car is not mint but still a true survivor. No cracks on the dash! Heat works great. Brakes are good. Needs nothing mechanically. Radio works but it sucks. Speedometer, and fuel gauge work fine. The undercarriage is solid. No holes in the floors. Does not burn oil. Its a very reliable car for being 46 years old. One half pump on the gas pedal and it fires right up in the morning.
