This all original Volkswagen Karmann Ghia has been in the family it's entire life. It was purchased in 1973 by my great-grandmother, who drove it until she couldn't. It was then stored in a barn on my great-grandparent's property in Eastern Washington until it was passed on to my grandfather. In 1996, my grandfather took ownership of it and brought it down to Los Alamos, New Mexico. He stored it in his garage and drove it regularly, adding around 20,000 miles to the odometer. Now that my grandfather is no longer able to drive, he has decided to sell the car (which he has named Skeeter).

As far as Skeeter is concerned, here is what you are looking at:
Skeeter is a 1973 Olympia Blue Volkswagen Karmann Ghia with the original 96.6 cubic inch flat four mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. The paint and glass is all intact and original as far as I know. The windshield does leak, but since Skeeter has been garaged most of it's life, there isn't any rust or mold issues as a result. The interior is in good shape, with original black vinyl seats covered in what I assume is sheepskin seat covers. The interior can use a good cleaning, and has been smoked in. The dash is cracked, but rest of the interior is in good shape.
Skeeter comes with all the original documentation and sales brochures, including the original sales receipt.
