1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 was in great shape when we first sourced it, it was a long way from becoming a proper B4x4 Classic. As with all of our vehicles, this rig underwent a pain-staking inspection, where the condition of every single component of the car was assessed. Our Land Cruiser restoration specialists performed maintenance on, refurbished, or replaced all necessary components. The main goal was to bring this car as close as possible to its original factory condition. After a full rebuild, this rig not only looks fantastic, but also runs strong, is extremely reliable, and is exceptionally mechanically well sorted and tuned. Work includes a bare-metal repaint in the original color and total refurbishment of the interior. This amazing rig features a full rebuild of the 3.9-liter F.5 engine, as well as a rebuilt 4-speed manual gearbox, rebuilt transfer case, new OEM carburetor, and more. New steel wheels were also added and fitted with mud terrain tires. Invoices from the build and importation documents are included in the sale, and this FJ43 is being offered with a clean title in the seller's name. Originally finished in Mustard Yellow (532), but a previous owner had repainted it red some time ago. The body was stripped of the red paint and inspected during the restoration. Panels with small blemishes were refurbished and damaged panels were replaced. The floor and bed panels were coated with an anti-corrosion liner before the entire body was repainted in the factory yellow. The chassis and all body panels are completely rust free and in mint condition. The beige soft-top has been refurbished and cleaned.
