1974 Volkswagen Beetle bright yellow Baja bug; I’ve had it for a little over a year, and it has served me faithfully that entire time. Im joining the military in a few months, so it’s time to say goodbye to the rowdiest, spunkiest, “most-smiles-per-mile” car I’ve ever owned. Ive taken it far and wide, and have found adventure wherever it takes me! I’ve done all the major stuff, and with the help of local professionals and seasoned experts this buggy has gotten lots of new parts, quality maintenance, and unbeatable TLC. The oil has been religiously changed every 3K miles, and the valves have been adjusted alongside every oil change. It currently uses a premium 30 weight scheaffers oil, which has all the good goop to keep those 70 year old engine guts running like clockwork. It’s had the carb tuned by a shop in the summer, and it has been maintained as needed. The clutch was the first thing done after I got it, and all the intake and exhaust gaskets are fresh, and have a couple hundred miles on them to get them seated and sealed. It has good tires all the way around, and comes with a spare set of front wheels, already mounted and balanced. The wiring was quite rough, so it’s been completely replaced with a factory replica, every connection and junction is machine crimped, and as fresh as a beetle‘s wiring could be straight off the production line. I’ve also replaced both CV axles, and the rear wheel bearings for a smooth, squeak free ride. The transaxle got some love as well, receiving a proper two stage flush of the recommended goop, and it has been silent as a mouse and functioning flawlessly for the couple thousand miles since. The front seat is brand new, a quality reproduction from jBugs, as well as the door cards. The rear bench is an original horse hair burlap seat, in excellent shape, and full of nostalgia. The roof rack is new, and has never wiggled or woggled once, even under some serious loads. The rear engine bar is brand new, from chirco performance.Trim: BajaBody Style: offroadDoors: 2Fuel Type: GasDrive Type: RWD
