1976 International Scout II with a 345 V8 and 3-speed automatic 727 transmission (stock), brand new softopper soft top, and full-rear custom roll-bar from GRC Fabrication. The truck has approximately 116,000 miles and the engine runs great. The carburetor was rebuilt, distributor cap cleaned, plugs and wires replaced. checked compression while the plugs were out and read consistent 150-170 psi readings on all cylinders. The Chrysler 727 transmission is a very common one and was rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. Choke needs to be adjusted slightly for easier startup but as soon as it fires, she runs well ( may adjust carburetor before showing the vehicle). The transfer case works well and engages 2HI, 4HI, and 4LOW. The engine oil, transmission fluid, and fluids in the rear differential and transfer case have been changed in the last 2000 miles. There is a slow oil leak from the engine that I believe is from the oil pan gasket or the dipstick entry point. New stereo and speakers were installed; enables CD, MP3, Bluetooth, aux, USB, etc. The entire interior was gutted, sanded, epoxy primed, seam sealed, and spray-in bedliner applied. Two small rust spots in the bed were patched with original sheet metal from another scout and a custom fit piece. The patches were properly welded and sealed prior to epoxy primer and bedliner. New carpet was installed in the front portion. Seat supports were primed and bedlined. Dash and door panels were painted (there are some blemishes on door covers from getting in and out of the vehicle). A better condition dash pad was sourced from another vehicle and dyed to better match interior upholstery. Front bench seat has some tears in the faux brown leather vinyl.
