This 1976 Jeep CJ5 is powered by an AMC 258(4.2L) inline 6 and a three speed manual transmission. The axles are Dana 30 front and AMC 20 rear. The repaired/upgraded parts on the CJ5 include a Weber 38/38 2-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition coil, exhaust manifold, engine, transmission, and transfer case oil, 185* thermostat, water pump, and Spal electric radiator fan, fuel pump, fuel regulator, fuel level sender, and fuel lines, complete rewire by a Painless Performance harness, BestTop seats and bikini top, heater core and heater hose, OE color matched spray in bed liner for the interior, rocker guards, underbody skid plate, and new Kenda tires. The fuel gauge does not work. The gauge itself is bad due to the lines and in-tank level being replaced but it’s all original and the current owner didn’t want to replace the gauge. This is an excellent older vehicle and he has driven it for many hours continuously without overheating or having any other issues.
