It's hard to find a cooler cruiser than this 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau finished in triple-red. And more than just exceptionally cool paint, this is a V8-powered personal luxury machine. So it's amazing a package this complete can also be so affordable. Firethorn Red was already a great color to have straight from GM, but even they never got it looking this glossy. That's because there was an investment in a professional respray that added plenty of metallic element to the paint. It gives this red a ruby-like quality in the sunshine. And speaking of automotive jewelry, all that custom gold pinstriping is a premium touch that will grab attention wherever it goes. The premium feeling is only heightened by the red landau roof. Add in big bright bumpers and iconic Rally wheels, and this coupe has a real standout presence... and this car has truly earned it. After all, 1977 was the final year for the large Monte Carlos with the '78s significantly downsized. And really we love these in extra long form so that lengthy hood has plenty of time to artfully develop sweeping lines in the sheetmetal. And the rear fenders have a sporty line that starts just behind the door handles and don't finfish until they reach the extended taillights. Oh yes, this one has the size and style to own the road. The interior completes the striking triple-red package (paint, roof, and interior.) And this color combo looks particularly striking thanks to the stellar condition of the interior. This is believed to be original, and so we would have no trouble imagining that the mileage is accurate. After all, averaging less than 1,700 miles annually would mean far less seat time than the average coupe. The pillow-top velour seats offer 70s-style individual luxury, and the driver's one power adjusts to the perfect cruising position. Plus, there are great luxury features like power windows.
