Every now and then we run across cars like this one...wonderful original examples of pampered cars that have survived looking almost new. We have just acquired this super clean 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale 2 door, and boy, is it a cream puff. The 59,938 miles are original (that's what the title states), and it sure looks it. It is powered by its original small block 350 V8 (LM1) and a hydramatic 3 speed automatic transmission with a 2.56 rear end ready for cruising. Inside, the interior looks like new. The plush cloth seats show almost no signs of wear, and the back seat looks like it has hardly been sat upon. Carpets are in excellent shape and the padded dash is free of cracks and blemishes. The paint is in very good condition with only a few small chips on the front of the hood (see pictures). The optional padded Landau roof looks like it did when it was new.This car rides and drives like it just came off the showroom floor. There are no mechanical issues...brakes...tranny...suspension...all in fine shape.
