1978 Chevy El Camino Conquista. Has 55,000 documented actual miles. An 'uncommonly nice' Chevy El Camino. Garaged its entire life. Always the best of care and maintenance from day one. This is truly one of those hard to find and 'cut above the rest' vehicles that looks like a crisp new dollar bill. Not often does a vehicle of this caliber and condition show up in the marketplace for sale. The Conquista model was the best of the packages offered by GM on the El Caminos offering upgraded interior and exterior two tone paint and body side moldings and rally wheels. Has the smooth factory upgraded 350 engine with 4 barrel carburetor. The upgraded 350 engine is hard to find in an El Camino as most of the V8's were the problematic 305 or the under powered V6 engines. Has the turbo 350 4 speed automatic transmission, factory air conditioning that is cold, power windows, power door locks, remote mirrors, tilt steering with cruise control. This El Camino has had one repaint back to the original colors that was professionally to the highest standards with no orange peel to the finish, no overspray, no dents or scratches. Very nice body and very clean interior. Never any rust. Was purchased new in Bixby Ok. from Ramsey Chevrolet and has spent its entire life here in Oklahoma. Has the original build sheet, sales invoice and original owners manual. Was produced in Fremont California assembly plant and shipped directly to Ramsey Chevrolet. The Tonneau cover is a very rare factory option that came with this El Camino from G.M . The build sheet shows that this rare tonneau came equipped from G.M. . Its in very nice condition. The inside of the bed is very nice with no scratches or damage and has a nice rubber mat to protect to floor. All glass is like new. Carpet, dash and door panels are very nice with no fading or cracking. All gauges work as they should. Drives very smooth with no issues.
