1980 Mercedes Benz 200 Series: Owner bought this vehicle from the original owner in St Petersbrugh Florida 4 years ago and shipped it to New York. She had ordered/imported this vehicle brand new, this model was not manufactured in the USA and is extremely rare. It only had 50,000 miles on it when current owner purchased it 4 years ago. The car has been garaged in Manhattan and driven as a weekender car since then. Owner has only put an additional 11,000 miles on it. This car has only broken down once in the last 4 years, which was a broken fuel line and the car was back on the road in 3 hours, this car is a beast. It has been serviced regularly at a German Auto mechanic in New York. Exterior and engine - This vehicle is A1. It just passed vehicle inspection again so it has a new sticker until Nov 2020. Interior - has wear in-line with a vehicle of this age. You can see sun damage on the rear upholstery, and the plastic has become brittle and cracked which covers the first aid kit on the rear shelf. Owner stil has the plastic and first aid kit however it looks better without. There is wear on the front drivers seat from use. There are cracks on the dash that is standard with W123 mercedes of this age. Plastic has become brittle around the air/heat dials. Everything is original apart from an after market CD/Stereo with Aux. input. The car also comes with the original stereo if you would like to re-install that. The original speakers work great. Owner also installed air conditioning that blows very cold. This car comes with original user manuals included. This is an extremely rare vehicle, and the last of the true Mercedes.
