1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Roadster is ready to enjoy. All options work as they should & the car runs & drives great. This SL was originally delivered new to Canada. All the manuals are in French. I kept all original parts & parts removed for upgrades. I have known this particular SL for almost 25 years. I purchased it & completed all work below with the intentions of keeping it long-term. Unfortunately plans change sometimes so I want this SL to go to a great home & be driven & enjoyed for many years. The pictures with the hardtop installed & the cover installed were taken before the new tires were recently installed. PLEASE SEE THE COMPLETE LIST OF PARTS REPLACED AND WORK PERFORMED BELOW The biggest upgrade completed is the removal of the outdated Climate Control Servo unit & replacement with a modern electronic control box. The Climate Control works great including ice cold A/C & great heat. There are 4 minor issues that didn't bother me enough to worry with but I want to mention for full disclosure. 1. Minor power steering fluid leak from power steering box (leaves a spot the size of a quarter when parked) 2. Minor wear spot on bottom driver side trim of soft top from normal operation (less than 1 inch & no leaks) 3. The hard top wasn't repainted when the rest of the car was in early 90's & has minor chips that were touched up 4. The clock in the tachometer of the instrument cluster does NOT work as it should I have extra parts that are included along with the hard top cover & full car cover. All books & manuals are included as well as 2 factory keys.
