1985 Toyota 4Runner! 1985 was a special year for Toyota 4x4s, it was the last year they came with a solid front axle and the first year they came with the well- renowned, fuel injected 22-RE. Finding one of these in good condition, that hasn't been beaten on or modified for the last 30 plus years is near impossible. Just had a tune up, new plugs and wires,new fan clutch, and long tube headers. The engine fires right up, and runs great. The clutch and transmission shift perfectly, and the transfer case works exactly as it should. We replaced all the shocks, the steering stabilizer, serviced the front and rear differentials, changed the rear pinion seal, rebuilt the front knuckles with the Low Range Offroad ultimate knuckle rebuild kit. We took out the old vinyl flooring, laid down sound deadening then fitted a brand new carpet kit in. Frame looks great and has a clean Carfax.
