1987 Jaguar XJ-SC Targa Very rare Talisman Silver Jaguar XJ-SC 'Targa' Cabriolet V12 'The best one in the country'. 24,000 original miles. Second owner. Winner of the recent 2020 Sir Sterling Moss Concours 'Best in Class' This car was purchased new in 1987 in Orlando Florida and driven for 5 years till 1985 at 23K miles. The owner put the car away in her garage. She did not want any of her sons to touch or drive the car. At the same time she also owned a Corvette, Audi and a Cadillac. She died in April of 2020 having driven the car once or twice since she took ill in 1985. Current owner bought the car from the Estate with 23,300 miles. After 30 years of storage this car was carefully returned to life in absolute original condition, the paint has the remarkable original factory gloss. There is no rust anywhere, never been out in the rain, being a Florida car and garaged all its life, it was never driven out of the State. The leather interior is perfect soft leather, no scratches or any wear areas. It has brand new V rated tires. The Targa tops are like new inside and out, all the accessories are in tact and like new ie the hardtop, the soft top, the convertible top cover, rare factory Jaguar logoed lambs wool seat covers. the rubber seals are all like new. All the factory books and 3 sets of Keys and the XJ-SC Special Service book, so any mechanic or owner has all the information about the car to work on it. I have the original Sales sticker and all the records of service since purchase have been kept. Mechanically this car has had all the necessary work done by one of the very best V12 mechanics. A long Time stored away in a garage does not help a car. A brand new Aluminum radiator was installed, makes the car run far cooler. All the fluids have been replaced. The most important parts the car needed have been replaced and recorded. This car is ready for shows or plain driving. It turns heads wherever I go.
