This car pioneered new concepts such as being the first production car in the world to use a space/frame chassis with a separate body shell composed of SMC-Sheet Molded Composite. Years after its model run, the Fiero has developed a cult following of owners and customizers alike. While all Fiero models are collectible, the 1988 model year is particularly sought after by collectors due to its limited production numbers and vastly improved underpinnings.
