Description
1966 Ford Econoline van in 2018 to add to my personal collection. The van was originally a military van. I had it wrapped as the mystery machine from scooby doo to use this as advertising and parades. This van gets pictures every time I park it outside and gets a million smiles and waves whenever I use it! Really a cute van.
It runs great and start right up. The trans shifts all gears like it should and the gauges are working. Sometimes the gas gauge comes and goes. The lights work. The automatic shift is a little off and can be adjusted, it worked fine for when I used it knowing it is off a bit but it wasn't a problem enough where I needed to address it.
The body is solid. The underside looks clean. The windows go up and down easy and the doors all open and shut like they should. The windshield has two little star cracks that were filled. The interior is not finished but solid.
I have the factory seats and extra red benches you can use. This car has a clean and clear title. It comes with the stuffed scooby, toys, and plates. It has mag wheels that look good and good tires. This is a van you can buy and finish it off or use it the way it is like I did and get a ton of attention.

Ford Econoline Buyer's Guide
Robert Halloran here. The Econoline doesn't get the collector attention of a VW Bus or a Chevy Van, but it probably should. The first-generation E-Series (1961–1967) is one of the most mechanically clever vehicles ever designed for American roads: the engine sits between the front seats, the front axle sits ahead of the driver, and the result is a vehicle that maximizes cargo capacity within a short overall length. It's a practical-engineering tour de force.
The custom van movement of the 1970s adopted the Econoline enthusiastically, and the second and third generations (1968–1974) have a devoted following that treats them as legitimate collector vehicles. A properly sorted classic Econoline — whether it's a clean original van or a period-correct custom — is a genuinely rewarding ownership experience.
