Cab corners, rocker panels, floor pans, cab mount points, lower fenders, and bed floor are universal rust zones. The frame rusts at the rear cross-member, body mount points, and inside boxed frame sections. The 1973-1987 square-body cars are particularly vulnerable to cab corner rust above the rocker panels.
