This 1988 RX-7 convertible widebody is a ground-up custom build that turns heads everywhere it stops. The owner installed a second-generation rotary engine with high-performance Apex Seals rated for 150,000 miles, backed by extensive Racing Beat performance upgrades. Recent major work includes a complete transmission and differential overhaul, new KYB AGX adjustable shocks at all four corners, and upgraded front struts.

From 2017 to 2018, a comprehensive frame-off restoration added custom Duraflex fiberglass widebody panels for the complete front end and rear quarters, plus an aluminum turbo hood. The body was refinished in striking 2007–2009 Corvette Atomic Orange with a fresh convertible top and complete interior restoration. Only the doors and trunk remain original.
