Why it works

The flathead V8 was cheap and easy to modify, the bodies look right chopped or stock, and decades of aftermarket parts mean almost anything is available. The 1940 Deluxe coupe is the most coveted body.

Buyer's note

Decide stock or rod before you buy. A numbers-stock original and a finished street rod sell to different buyers at very different prices, and a chassis swap changes the value entirely.
