Description
This 1967 Corvette convertible is a genuine ZR-1 resto-mod built around a supercharged LS9 crate engine producing 638 horsepower. The powertrain features a six-speed TREMEC transmission with carbon-fiber syncros, strengthened input shaft, and McLeod dual disc clutch, backed by a narrowed and extended 9-inch Moser rear axle. Custom fabrication work includes a bespoke sheetmetal cover engineered to house the Ford rearend within the original C2 body, complemented by widebody quarter-panels accommodating the substantial tire package.
The LS9 benefits from premium cooling components: a 2.5-inch heat exchanger and 20 gallons-per-minute circulating pump managing intercooler temperatures. An Aeromotive A-1000 fuel pump with variable pressure regulator and custom relay circuitry ensure consistent fuel delivery. The car presents with a leather interior and is finished as a convertible.
This is a purpose-built machine combining classic Corvette aesthetics with modern performance engineering.

Classic Chevrolet Corvette Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Corvette has been America's sports car for over seventy years, but the classic Corvette market splits into three distinct generations, each with its own buyer profile and its own pitfalls. The C1 (1953-1962), C2 mid-year (1963-1967), and C3 shark (1968-1982) cover three decades of evolution from solid-axle straight-six convertibles to small-block legends to LT-1-powered chrome-bumper cars. Knowing which Corvette is yours — and what it actually is versus what the seller claims — is the difference between a sound investment and an expensive lesson.
