Description
This 1971 Nova Pro Street is a five-year, ground-up restoration showcasing serious craftsmanship. The heart is a new 454 big block producing approximately 550 HP, fed by a Demon carb and MSD 6AL ignition, breathing through ceramic coated Doug's headers and a custom 3-inch stainless mandrel-bent exhaust system. A built Turbo 400 transmission rated for 700 HP connects to a Ford 9-inch rear with 3:73 Posi gearing.
The chassis features a complete Chris Alston setup with front and rear coil-over suspension, tubular control arms, QA1 springs and shocks, four-wheel power disc brakes with line-lock, and electric power steering. The body showcases show-quality blue and black paint with subtle modern touches including C5 tail lights and door handles, while all bright trim converted to powder-coated black. The interior offers custom leather, Cobalt gauges, ice-cold AC, power windows, tilt wheel, and a premium sound system.
This car is fresh, detailed, and running perfectly on new tires. It's genuinely ready to drive anywhere.

Classic Chevrolet Nova Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Nova ran from 1962 through 1979 and spent most of that run being underestimated. General Motors built it on a compact platform originally designed for the economy-minded Chevy II, then spent the late 1960s cramming engines as big as the 396 cubic-inch big-block into every corner they could find. The result is one of the most rewarding sleepers in the classic car market — if you know how to verify what you're actually buying. A documented SS396 is worth real money. A car wearing repro SS badges without a cowl tag to back them up is worth considerably less.
