1932 Ford Phaeton It's a Wescott body - very solid and accurate, not 'rickity' like original, serial #12, has working cowl vent, front seat set back, stock style firewall, separate flat dash, and complete [includes stitched upholstry for rear doors, seat cushions, and rear corners] dark gray GM truck cloth interior with carpet. Glenn Kramer at Hot Rod Interiors made the tonneau cover and installed the rest of the interior. On new chassis, jig built Jim Weimer Hot Rod Garage frame rails, Chassis Engineering center X with pedals for clutch, Alden coilovers, triangulated 4bar on '57 Oldsmobile rear end with a NEW 4.10 Posi. So-Cal front cross member, mono leaf front spring, chrome Superbell tube axle, Chevy van spindles and brakes with finned aluminum Olds drums. All drums were turned and all new internal brake parts were used. 4 bar front suspension, Vega steering box & arm, and C.E. motor mounts for SBC. Has a fresh 283 Chevy engine with a polished intake and Edelbrock carb. The ’68 Chevy Muncie 4-speed trans was rebuilt and a Hurst Competition + shifter added. A GM pickup steering column, original Bell 13” steering wheel, and original S-W gauges are mounted below the dash. Fiberglass hood top, no sides, Bob Drake grill shell with a painted insert, on a ‘32 Ford copper radiator. Original BLC headlights and LED repro ’37 Ford taillights are used. The 14 gallon spun aluminum fuel tank is mounted inside the back of the body [easily removed]. Rare E.T. III rear wheels with dirt tracks, and M/T Medallion front wheels with new radials. Exhaust is GM manifolds and Smitty glass pack mufflers - needs tail pipes. Stock style firewall has been recessed, floor under front seat flattened, rear floor raised for clearance, doors have been fit. New removable front floor with trans hump. Body primed with 2 part DuPont products. The new Dan Fink windshield was chromed.Body Style: ConvertibleDoors: 2
