1934 Chevy Custom Hot Rod She was born in 1934, as a half-ton DB Master Closed Cab Pickup. A fantastic truck and an excellent example of an important year and model within the history of the Chevrolet pickup trucks. Nothing is known about her glamorous life, until her cabin was rescued from a junkyard in 2018 and brought back to life in 2019, with lots of TLC. Completely refreshed, she is now channeled and sitting on a shortened and Zee’d frame with dropped Speedway front axle, together with a new custom bed with Cypress Shou Sugi Ban woodwork and a custom period correct front grille and cowl. She is powered by a fresh Jasper SBC350 5.7-liter engine, a TH-700R4 rebuilt transmission and a rebuilt 9-inch rear end powertrain. The vintage 15” Weld 30 spoke wheels Cragar style with spinners wear new Radial GT Grand AM tires and all four have disc brakes. Painstakingly embellished with a lot of unnecessary features, especially in order to attract attention and increase appeal, she is fondly known as The Gimmick. Check her plate. Her cabin is fully insulated with noise/heat and lined with black marine vinyl. The headliner is star spangled, like our flag. Stick your head and sniff the interior. You will not get that old car smell. Several interior details enhance her beauty, as the real wood dash, console and trims; real black leather dash, console trims and cup holders lining; tilting steering column; Carbon fiber look racing style steering wheel; the all new White Dolphin gauges and GPS speedometer; Carbon fiber look toggle switch safety flip boots; engine start push button; cabin billet Zeppelin LED light; B&M shifter; black Procar low back bucket seats; seatbelts; reflective paracord wrapping accents; racing stickers; embroidered patches and more. She still carries the beautiful design, with a one piece push out windshield, a cowl vent, a modern top and a back window.
