1937 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup began life as a light duty delivery truck for James Holt owner of RW grocery in Thaxton, VA, In 1966 Joseph Porter purchased the truck with the grocery name was still legible across the driver door after those years. In 2002 it was purchased for the 3rd time and brought to Rocky Mount NC, and in 2004 restoration was started with many original components that survived the 73 years, and completed in 2010, with all documents. Upgrade 235 cid inline 6 cylinder, with an offenhauser aluminum intake which is connected to dual Rochester carburetors setup, and Doug Thorley headers that give's you that extra kick of performance, 3 speed transmission on the floor, upgrade suspension and rear-end, dual exhaust with 30' extension fishtail tips, lowered front and back, powder coated rims with new white wall firestone tires, custom fuel tank under bed which is finished in hand hewn planed oak boards, all gauges work, runs cool with electric fan, all converted to 12 volt system, the exterior is finished in Balboa Blue with Raven Black fenders, and interior done in Silver Metallic. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or CallDoors: 2
