1939 Plymouth P8 Deluxe Convertible CoupeIn 1939, this P8 was at the top of the food chain in the automotive industry. Only 5900 examples were made compared to the comparable Ford 91A which produced over 10,000 examples. The cost of this beautiful Plymouth was $895, over $100 more then the Ford. Sounds like nothing today but in 1939, it was a considerable amount at over 12% more.Take a close look at this beauty. An incredible build with all the right stuff. The body and frame are all original. The paint and all chrome and trim are flawless without a mark anywhere. The undercarriage is basically spotless with minimal signs of light usage.The interior is virtually perfect starting with the seating and door inserts. The matching saddle colored leather with cloth insides display a beautiful custom, date correct pattern. This matching pattern is also used for the Rumble Seat in back. The dash is painted to match the exterior color.
