1940 Plymouth Sedan. This car was sold brand new at a dealership in Virginia in 1940. The owner drove it back into the same dealership in 1969, with only 18,000 miles on it, and traded it in on a 1969 Dodge. Since it was then 29 yrs old (antique) they decided to put it back in the showroom. It sat there 47 yrs. Occasionally it was driven in parades & local events, and used for promotions. So, in 47 years, they clocked an addition 7,000 miles on it. So currently it has only 25,346 miles on it. It is in amazing original condition. Flathead inline six cylinder engine. Three speed manual transmission with column shift. ('three on the tree'). Currently needs brake work to be safe to drive.
