1946 Chevrolet Truck ALL ORIGINAL. ZERO RUST! AMAZING Condition. If you buy this original old 1946 Chevrolet half ton piece of history be prepared to answer questions and hear 'thumbs up' stories. This is the kind of truck that will always have value as a fun driver or use as an Advertisement for a business or both It looks like it did back in the fifties when it was used to sell watermelons. Never been restored has a lot of original paint. The glass is good, windows still crank freely but tilt out windshield crank still needs work. I always liked this waterfall grill and now I see it on several TV commercials. The cruising speed is only about 55 MPH. Good clutch and transmission, it has 3 forward speeds and it's an old fashioned floor shift. Original heater works. Has been converted to 12 volt so all lights are bright. All gauges and even the fuel gauge work, The headliner is still good and original seat has been recovered as original.. Clear clean title. I am 81 and I have bought and sold a lot of old cars but I don't think I ever bought one as straight as this one. When I first bought it I was thinking I would put a half ton bed box on it, but then I found out the existing flat bed is an original Chevrolet factory option and it's very rare to find a half ton set up like this. I am working on a few things this week (painting the bed adjusting the valves fixing the wipers etc. If you compare my asking price with other 41 46 half tons that you see online you will see that this truck is a bargain. ( Please note My neighbor wanted to use it in their wedding, so I did some touch up painting so that's why it looks different in photos.
