1946 Ford Model 69Y one-ton truck is fitted with a stake-side flatbed, a 239ci flathead V8, and a four-speed manual transmission. The cab is finished in green, the bumpers and frame are red, the fenders and running boards are black, and beige paint accents the cab. Features include a black grille guard, turn signals, dual side mirrors, a two-piece windshield, a single windshield wiper, rear mud flaps, and multiple taillights. The 239.4ci flathead V8 was factory rated at 100 horsepower. A six-volt electrical system is retained. “Railway Express Agency” signage is attached to the sides of the Flatbed. Red-painted 17? steel wheels are adorned with polished hubcaps. A spare is secured inside the bed area. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums. The brakes and wheel cylinders were recently serviced, and photos of the work in progress are shown. The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include a painted metal dashboard, diamond-plate-style black flooring, a heater, a glovebox, and a rearview mirror. Instrumentation consists of a 60-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage.
