1947 Chevrolet 3800 1-Ton Dually Flat Bed Truck (2nd Series) This beautiful, classic Chevrolet truck went through a complete painstaking multi-year frame-off nut and bolt restoration using original, OEM and NOS parts. No expense was spared with the restoration of this truck! This traffic stopping truck would make a great promotional/marketing vehicle in front of any business or event... This truck has been driven less close to 1,500 miles since the restoration was completed a few years ago and looks just like the recent photos in the listing. This 1947 Chevy 3800 Flat Bed One Ton Dually Truck with Stakes is a 2nd Series mid year model. During the restoration, a 1953 cab was used in place of the original cab because the newer cab is similar in size and style except that it came with vent windows. Even the wood for the bed and stakes was meticulously redone. This truck is equipped with a rebuilt straight “6” 261 engine, 4 speed manual transmission with a 411 rear end, dual rear wheels/tires, power brake upgrade, NOS Chevy heater & radio, 12 volt conversion, custom fuel tank, 4 locking under bed/side storage boxes, one locking rear box, dual exterior mirrors, complete front/rear lights, turn signals, dual windshield wipers, seat belts and more… This wonderful classic truck measures approximately 19 feet long by 79 inches tall. The front cab is around 6 feet wide and the bed is close to 7 feet x 111 inches long. The restoration photo book plus many restoration receipts will be included with the truck. The paint, body, chrome, wood, rubber, glass, stainless steel, electric, interior and tires are all in excellent restored condition plus the truck runs and drives great. This truck is currently registered in California with the pictured 1947 Commercial Truck plates that go with the truck to the new owner.
