1947 DeSoto Custom in Oshawa, Ontario ID-29754
Has had lots of work done to it,such as complete inside and out asphalt undercoating (not the oil stuff), but everything is still original including seats. Seats have rips, but are still 90% complete, just the fabric is really fragile. I'm very picky when it comes to these old cars, and all replacements are top quality. Including a 60AMP generator upgrade (no dim lights, you can also add accessories).
Brake line is the cupro-nickel type that is completely rust proof.
The wires are all heavier gauge, and everything else
is of the highest quality. Entire body is solid. I've had the entire car undercoated with extra thick rubberized asphalt, just like the original.
The paint is industrial, so it's complete spill proof, and is inert to strong chemicals such as diesel and gasoline.
Still needs upholstery and repairs on chrome.
