1948 GMC 5 WINDOW PICKUP This truck in light green patina has a modern front end from a 1983 Monte Carlo which gives it Power Steering, Disc Brakes, independent front suspension. The ride is great for this vintage. No solid front axle. Rebuilt 3 speed automatic with shift kit, new driveshaft and late model differential. Very solid sheet metal New complete wiring harness. Fresh rebuild on Buick 3.8 liter bored .040 oversized, 236 ci. The engine has the Turbo heads that have been ported and polished new valve springs, new pistons, rod and main bearings, Melling performance cam, lifters, pushrods, timing cover with one piece seal and water pump.
