1949 Ford pickup f3/f1 Suspension The suspension has been fully modernized with Mustang 2 front independent suspension and a ford 9-inch clutch type LSD rear end with triangulated 4 link suspension, QA1 adjustable coil over mounted at 60 degrees in the back. Disk brake at all four corners with wilwood master and Lokar emergency brake. Wheels are SVE 20 inches and 8.5 inches wide front followed by 9 inches at the rear. the wheels will also fit a modern Mustang GT and vice versa. Powertrain The powertrain has been upgraded from a manual transmission to a brand new C4 superstreet from Performance Automatic. indestructible original flathead 226 inline 6 engine with new aluminum radiator, brand new coil, NGK spark plugs and spark plug wires, distributor Points, condensers, fuel sending unit, Water temp sensor and oil pressure sensor has been replaced. Valve adjustment has been done at 23,000 miles at European Autoworks. Full rebuilt carburetor with new fuel pump diaphragm. from the pictures you can see the truck is running on 6 volt and has a new battery, starter relay and regulator. Body The truck has original front half with no rust in and out, the truck came to me from a friend and was used as a farm vehicle, so it had a flat bed, I later added brand new bed and the fenders.
