1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Sitting on a 1981 Chevrolet K10 Let me start by saying that of the dozen trucks of this era that I have owned, this is the first one that you simply walk up to and open the door! No lifting ,no twisting, NO screwdrivers or bars to assist in opening, quite amazing really…. I know the simple things, Right? Very tight , original Colorado truck…. Not abused, but not taken care of either…. Really , the kind no one minds working on ! Ok: 1954 Chevrolet 3100 sitting on a 1981 Chevrolet K10. All 1981 Chevy running gear, 350 engine , 350 TH transmission. New carb but needs a new starter. I drove the donor (81) to my shop, did a quick body change and haven’t touched it for 3 years… Needs body mounts and such. I did put all new glass in, I built a custom cherry floor and have all new stainless steel nuts/bolts and new SS bed strips . Normally, if the tailgate is even attached to the truck of this work vintage it's far from functional, but this is a user… One of the beauty’s of this truck is ,you could just bolt it back together and drive it and enjoy it , not worry about a scratch…Trim: PickupBody Style: TruckDoors: 2Condition: UsedCertified: 0
