1955 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Real-Deal, Beautiful one of a kind. Stunning Polo White and is surrounded by a breath taking gorgeous red leather interior. The chrome, glass and stainless was also refinished and looks perfect. This Corvette was acquired and purchased back in 1990 by her 3rd & most current owner as a Father & Son project. Since it was not a complete 1955 and after many conversations with their restorations shop the Dynamic-Duo decided that if they were going to move forward with the restoration they would tastefully transform it into an outstanding resto-mod. The objective was to retain the car’s original cosmetic appearances but everything under the body would be new & upgraded for peak performance. Their full frame-off project began in 2001 and was not completed until 2013 with the typical issues such as time & money which delayed the completion of the car. The final product proves that their efforts paid off in leaps and bounds. There was no expense spared on this professional restoration and it clearly shows. She is powered by a professionally built 327 CID, Chevy V8 with over 300 HP that was built by the legendary engine builder. The four speed M21 Transmission was also newly built at the same time during the restoration as well as the rear differential which has 3.73:1 gears making her a perfect cruising sports car. She rides on Classic Cragar Wheels staggered front to back giving her an amazing mild rake.
