A new entry in our stable of Tri-Five Chevys. We have added a 1956 BelAir 2 door Hardtop with a 265 ci engine and Powerglide transmission. This is a good honest old collector car. We believe the miles to be original (as the title states) the paint appears to be the original lacquer paint (if not it was painted a time ago with lacquer) and the engine and transmission appear to be numbers correct. Look at the pictures at www.corvettesandmusclecars.com to verify how solid the under side of this car is...frame floor pans trunk pan are all no issue solid and rust free. Mechanically this car is A-1. It starts first time every time and runs and drives as you would expect a '55 Chevy to. I call this type of car a "go anywhere anytime" car...hop in and go without worry of mechanical failure. Inside the carpet appears to have been replaced. The seats are in very good condition showing no rips or tears and only minimal signs of age (again check out the pics on our website). The paint has a couple of chips but overall presents very nicely. The chrome still has a nice shine to it and the brightwork is polished with looks that defy its age. If you are looking for a good honest driver quality tri-five that you can drive anywhere with confidence then this is the car for you.
